Ohio State Master's Entry Summer 2016

I do plan to work while in the program, but hopefully not full time! I would love to get a Graduate Associate position on campus, I believe those only require about 20 hours a week. If not I've honestly contemplated just being an Uber driver lol

Has anyone heard of people switching specialties during the program? I heard it's possible if someone realizes they made the wrong decision and space opens up in another program (due to dropping out, or not passing classes, life, etc.). I wonder if having the 2 specialty preferences that was introduced this year will change that. I am excited for my program, but I am sooo nervous as well!

During one of the info sessions there was a current student who switched specialties. We were cautioned it is rare and difficult. It will also likely delay graduation since some classes are only offered once a year.

Congrats to all who got in!! Mine still says pending..... Nobody seems to have gotten a denial yet, so I'm assuming they haven't started notifying on those yet. I know that still pending isn't that great of a sign when so many people have gotten in, but at least a little hope is still there.
