I don't want to post details, but let's just say it wasn't minor. I have never screwed up this badly. The only thing I can say is that it was my first day off orientation and I only had the patient for about 30 minutes, and I did the best I knew how. But still, it's my signature on the bottom of that form....ugh.

Omg, I'm so sorry! *hugs* I am not an RN yet, so I can't really give advice (plus I don't know the situation), but I feel really bad for you. Hopefully things will get straightened out, and it won't be as big of a 'screw up' as you think. Good luck! :icon_hug:

Sorry, I realize now that this is in the emergency department forum, and you probably didn't take the patient from another nurse!
We do take patients from each other at change of shift, so you weren't totally off base! :)
