Official nursing student fall 2011 stand up!!!

Published

I am so excited about starting the nursing program and thought it would be fun to see who else is excited!! Tell everyone what school you will be attending, what was your GPA, and TEAS score. Fall 2011 RRRRROOOOLLLLLL CCCCAAAALLLL:yeah::yeah::yeah:

I will be attending GPC, my GPA was 3.8, and my TEAS V score was 82%!

I have a quick question (I am new here). I am getting ready to take AP and I am taking it online (with lab) and was told to get a lab kit (that included a cat to disect on my counter). I have read that some people who have taken this course online did not get the lab kit. What would all of you suggest?

ADN program at Brookhaven College!!! Whoot whoot!!!

if i have a bad gpa is lpn the way to go?

Some schools place more weight on the entrance exam - so as long as you meet the minimum, you might be okay. Depends on the admission requirements.

Hello fellow nurses to be!

I start my nursing classes at Keiser University Melbourne on Aug 29th; ADN. 4.0 GPA, 90.6% overall on the TEAS.

I am so excited, it's now officially less than a month away! Gonna be a wild ride!!

Great, but what if you are a non-traditional student? I am sorry but I am not sure what a RPN is, could you please explain? Congrats on your future endeavors.

In Ontario, Canada an "RPN" is a Registered Practical Nurse. Most RPN programs are 2 years long, and for many other provinces in Canada it is also referred to as LPN -> Licensed Practical Nurse.

I'll be attending Shelton State Community College ADN program. I'm not sure what my GPA is, I've been to several schools over the years. My school required above a minimum on the last twenty-four hours of course work, and awarded points for specific class grades, and TEAs scores. I scored 82% on the TEAs V. I'm excited to get started on my nursing courses!

I am starting Grayson County College ADN program on Aug.22! I am excited too! My gpa is a 3.45 and I took the Hesi and it was 84.9% overall. Good luck everyone! I am very anxios to start the program but I am getting more nervous as the time approaches!

I was expected to start my nursing classes starting in Jan, but I just got a call today from my school telling me that I can start this fall!!!! Now I have to hurry up and get my physical and titers drawn. Good thing I already have my CPR done! I am sooooo excited!!!!:yeah::heartbeat:clown:
