If you are taking NCLEX in October as I am here is a place to get motivated. As of today you have approximately 4-8 weeks to prepare for this life changing test. That is more than enough time if you haven't started yet.
Now crack open whatever review book you have and hit it because now is the time to begin. Start typing :typing those review sheets, looking over rationales start with the stuff you know you need help with and feel like because by the end of your study time you'll be up to the stuff you do know and you'll hopefully feel more comfortable at test time... or maybe you won't.
Anybody else motivating tips, or study tips for NCLEX
i'm new to this site although i have been stalking it lately lol. i am taking my nclex this friday... and i have 2 close friends taking it friday and one taking it thursday! we all took kaplan together so we shall see how well it paid off.
needless to say, i can't wait to get it over with and finally feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. good luck to everyone!!!

Good luck everybody, i know how it feels to take the test in couple of days, i took mine last week. Good luck , good luck, remenber to be calm and breathe no matter what happens during the exam, i will be saying a prayer!!
I took the exam Last thursday Oct 1, I did try the "pearson trick"--I got a pop up window saying something like "You are currently in our system and are unable to register at this time please contact the national board of nursing for further assistance". I did find out the next morning I passed ! :) Although i did not "trust" the response because I thought it might have been too soon to try it. I took the PN exam and had 85 questions. As others have said on this site if you remember your last question and can confirm you got it right that is a GOOD indicator of whether you passed or failed as well as the SATA questions--you have to figure they are DIFFICULT questions so if you had many of them I believe that you MUST have answered the previous questions correctly.Good luck i hope you hear good news soon!!
Congratulations to everyone who has passed and I am praying for everyone that is taking it this week. I am so nervous that I cannot even call and set a date so please everyone keep me in your prayers. I have days where I feel like I can pass it, but when it comes to the point of scheduling I get too nervous to even call which makes me scared of how I will be when I actually get there.
I take mine in 3 more days. I am nervous too! I have a mixture of emotions. One minute I am ready for it. then the next I am like oh my gosh. I am just trying to stay positive!!! I am praying everyday. I will let you guys know how it goes. KEEP UP THE PRAYERS FOR US OCTOBER TEST TAKERS!!! That's what is going to get us through this!!:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat:redbeathe
_cassyandra if it helps at all... call schedule your test for a couple weeks away so you can set up your study plan. So you have it set in your head on this date... I am going to be a nurse!!!!! You can do it!!!
