I was wondering what everyone's GPA and Preference Points were, also I was wondering if the new math placement test is as hard for everyone else as it was for me (I couldn't make the minimum requirement for the 2 preference points) so now I only have 15 preference points with a 3.3 GPA. I don't think I will make it in because of the math test. :confused:

I think there are about 6 from the 1st 8 weeks, then about 8 innocent victims that had NO IDEA what they had signed up for...

Just kiiiiiiiiidddddding! I should not be allowed online until after I regain consciousness (finish this semester)...

I don't know what else we can talk about until we get our first letters...:dzed:

So, I was told 4-6 weeks when I turned in my application. Was that for confirmation of rcpt? Or will we know if we are accepted into the program by then?

Either way, ONE week down. 3-5 to go.......

Hey that is exactly what we are SURVIVORs. So how many students are left now? 'cause when we started A&P I we were like 30 by the end of the first 8wks we were down to like 10, and only 5 stuck around for the 2nd 8wks. The class is really NOT that hard, this guy knows his stuff, I honestly like the way he teaches, the only problem is TIMEEEEEEEEE, my god everything comes at you so FAST you barely have time fo anything else. Just hang in there it will be over before you know it.

From there we gotta wait I think 2-3more wks. Well that's how long I had to wait when I applied last fall. Hopefully this year we wont have to wait that long.

If you want an easy micro class take Jones at UCO. Physio take hirtzel at offs, he is hard but helpful

I would NOT take hirtzel. Yes, he is helpful but he was sooooo hard and our entire class was stressed! He's not a bad guy, he's just such a brilliant guy that it's hard for him to "dumb it down" so that we could understand. So if you really want to understand on a more simple level I would take someone else.

It has been 5 weeks and 3 days. Anyone getting antsy besides MEEEEE??? Finals AND watching the mail is tooooo much! Life is too anxieting, uh... I meant, exciting! (heehee) I'm deliriously cramming for our last two exams in A&P II for Thursday...

Looking forward to my mental breakdown on Friday... Jammies allllll day!;)

I got mine, too.

But, I'm not as hopeful now... Looking at that letter, I "felt" that I would not get in with my GPA so low. It looked objectively worse on paper than in my mind. Oh well, back to studying for finals!

Hey OCCC hopeful, If I'm not mistaking I think they look at the preference points before you GPA. So you would have priority over us 16 and 15 pointers!

Mine came today too! Weird thing is, when I turned it in they told me I had 19 preference points, but the letter states just 16. I'm not gonna stress about it though. Good luck everyone!

So how do you feel about my chances with 18 points? I just got my points letter yesterday. The waiting is killing me.
