OCCC BADNAP-Spring 2021

I was able to talk to the director of the badnap program to get some stats on the program for the last couple years so Spring 2019 the last GPA was a 3.4 and for Spring 2018 the last GPA was a 3.1.

Just want to give you all a little hope I have a 3.0 So I might have to wait until June.

Also she stated that they get about 100 applicants in Spring

she also stated if you finished everything and have a 2.5 it’s most likely you get in because they take them over people that still have classes to take

I’m hoping the covid will push me on through haha

Thank you for this- I’ve got all my stuff completed but I do have a 2.6 so I wondered how that would work- but didn’t get a high enough score on the TEAS which is OK- so I will maybe work on it and reapply in the January for June!

On the application it says something about needing to get a “course substitution” form and have it approved but the advisor didn’t give me any of that info.

The advisor I spoke with said that process would happen automatically when they are evaluating your prerequisite courses on the application and that there was nothing we needed to do, so that was a relief!

I submitted my application yesterday; I'm hoping I filled everything out right and uploaded the correct documents! It's all out of my hands now! Now to wait and see what happens!

@dara.young yay! I’m submitting mine this evening. Did you attach your TEAS score and if so, which documentation did you use? I have the print out from OCCC but I wasn’t sure if that it the document I needed to attach.

I did attach the TEAS from the ATI website that’s all in color and has the percentages on it, that’s the copy the advisor suggested I upload. The app is pretty simple and didn’t take long, but I was nervous the entire time before I hit the submit button!

I too have just applied to the Spring 2021 BADNAP program. I'm a bit nervous because I still have pre-reqs in progress. Here's to hoping the applicant pool is smaller during the pandemic I guess.

I don’t think it will be small because when I talk to them they said the tradition had over 300 applications and it was a record for them for I’m like ughhhh please be so so small
