OCCC BADNAP-Spring 2021

Hello Everyone! This thread is for students applying to the BADNAP program for Spring 2021.

Does anyone know of any other schools that are administering the TEAS test in person besides OCCC?

@Nashyla Hammons UCO will be opening up 2 testing dates on September 11th. I believe one of the test days is September 16th. You may give them a call tomorrow to find out for sure. If they tell you “all slots are full” tell them you were told they would be opening up more dates on the 11th. Once it opens up you will have to go on and get your spot as soon as it opens or it will fill up within an hour or two. It’s extremely stressful that there aren’t more schools opening up for opportunities to get this entrance exam completed. Seems a bit unfair since testing for the TEAS has been closed for most of this year.

I took mine at uco this week I got lucky checked the site and someone had canceled so I snagged the slot two weeks prior, ‘TEAS can also be taken at Redlands, osu okc and rose do the HESI-

I know Redlands was still doing in person TEAS tests as of a few weeks ago; that's where I took mine back in January, it's a nice testing environment.

Yes this happen to me I had took a Chemistry class and they just now telling me that it will not transfer over and I’m so upset because now  I only have a 3.0 and a 70 on the TEAS so I might not get in the Spring and might have to try in the Summer but I am trying for a higher TEAS score hope to get like a 80 to 90 something

When I had called to ask about this at the registars office they told me that on their end it showed the classes had been complete- the portal was just not reflecting what was already evaluated. I called and spoke with someone 2x just to be sure I was getting the same info. Good luck!

Yes I called and I got an emailing from two different people that it will not transfer so I was hurt but hopefully I get a hitter grade on my TEAS test

I was able to speak to an advisor last week and I think I have the micro transfer issue all figured out, hopefully!  Hoping to get the application submitted some time this week and wait not so patiently for the decisions to be made!

The portal can be really confusing, so I'm glad I was finally able to speak to an advisor who was able to explain how it would work since the micro class I took was 4 hours and the one at OCCC is 5, they are going to borrow 1 hour from one of my other science courses so my micro course will transfer as 5 hours.  Hopefully I've got everything in line now and will be applying this week!

I would be upset too!  When do you take the TEAS? You've got this, I know you can get that 80-90!  I took it twice, and the 2nd time I felt like it was much easier than the first!

@dara.young I have the same situation. My Micro is 4 hours so advisor told me they would take 1 hour from General Biology. Did they tell you what steps we had to take to get that approved? On the application it says something about needing to get a “course substitution” form and have it approved but the advisor didn’t give me any of that info.

Yes I just sent it to the director and she said she will get back to me and they said it didn’t transfer so I was like such a waste of time
