I am just curious. Would you ever work in an abortion clinic? Would you give pills that would cause an abortion? Thanks

When people talk about choice they forget that the main person involved is not given any choices.

I ask again: who IS the "main person" you mention?
Seems to me, there are TWO people (at least) MEDICALLY involved in a pregnancy. (Not to mention, emotionally, at least the father of a baby). WHO TAKES PRECEDENCE IN THE MEDICAL ASPECT OF PREGNANCY, who is "the main person"? I guess that would be the hot-button question of the day, huh?????
The "main person" referred to here is the fetus. (i.e. the fetus is not given any choice of whether it is aborted or not.)

When the mother's life is threatened, then who's the main person in THAT situation?

And if you believe it's a person, that's a good point. If like me, you don't, it really isn't. That's the heart of the issue isn't it?
When someone tells me the good news of their pregnancy, I believe that there is a life in the womb of that individual. I don't see it as some little ball of cells with no life; that will become a formed person in short time. I believe the fetus is a person.

You hit the nail on the head fergus, like I said earlier, everyone has an opinion, doesn't make it a "fact".

So are you saying a fertilized egg is just a fertilized egg? So when someone says they are pregnant they are not really saying that they have a baby inside them but that there is a fertlized egg or fetus inside of them? I am sorry but that is incorrect. The child inside the woman who is going in for an abortion has done nothing wrong and it is that womans job to take responsibility for her actions and i am sorry killing her baby is not very responsible.
killing her baby is not very responsible.
Find out her reasoning for getting it done before passing judgement, please? Thank you. :)

No, we are merely saying opinion is in the eye of the beholder. Some believe the morula is a person. Some do not. No one is trying to change your position, only to point out that as the Quakers say, "Consider the possibility you may be mistaken".
I have a somewhat unusual opinion: I do believe abortion is murder but it is the lesser of two evils.

Yes, I definitely would. Abortion is a personal & difficult decision, and I support choice. These women need compassion, understanding, and support. Not judgement.
I am pro-choice and agree with word for word. (nicely put jezebel!) Everyone deserves to be cared for without judgement. Isn't that what nurses do?
