I know a girl named Jade Emerald Greene...pathetic.

Family of four kids, Jade and Emerald (girls) Forest and Sage (boys). Dog is named Olive.

Actually, I like each name individually, but the whole package is just CORNY........IMHO.

Oh gosh, I almost forgot these ones...

I worked with a girl named Krystle. Sisters were Fallon and Alexis, brother was Blake.

Sound familiar? Hint: they were all born in the 80s....

Ahh, the themed baby names...gotta love it. Nothing like a good gimmick to identify your child to the world.

My daughter named her first born - Dayona Jolee (pronounced day-ahna). I think it's pretty. Jolee isn't after Angelina either - it's after g'pa's first name, Joe, and g'ma's middle name, Lee. Don't know where she got Dayona from. (People want to pronounce it like Daytona).

Something interesting, in NC the birth cert. can't have a punctuation in the name, and I see lots of moms that are really mad about it too! (we have lots of punctuation names)

    I love this topic...

My brother was updating his DNR with the help of the chaplain just hours before his recent transplant. It was a lot for him to handle, he was almost paralyzed with fear/excitement/disbelief about his impending surgery, and he had a little meltdown right there in front of the chaplain, notary, and me. The chaplain was very patient and calming, waiting for him to finish crying, but gently prodding him to pull it together because time was of the essence. Finally, the chaplain asked the CNA to get him Jack Daniels!! I thought, my brother IS upset, but why in the heck does this guy think its okay to give him a shot of booze??? Or have one himself??????

It turns out Jack Daniels is an old guy who is a hospital volunteer and acts as a witness for the living wills.

    oops....my bad.

When I first started nursing a mother let her signifigant other name their daughter T-9-C. Texas no longer allows just letter or numbers for names. I know a Montrella and Cinderella. We had a mother who named her sons, Billy Idol and Van Halen. Being from Texas we have a lot of western names, Colt, Chisum, Riggin,Chekota,Dakota.
