Hi thanks for creating the thread. I am planing on applying soon as I graduate December so it's still too early for me to apply now. Have you heard anything back yet?

Hey! Thanks for making the thread!
I applied on the 12th to the Tisch/Kimmel Opening and the LI opening on the 18th. I got an email today from I assume a recruiter asking for my GPA as well as what units im interested in.
Does anyone know what units are hiring for the fall residency, also when it starts?
dang I got an email a few days ago asking me to touch base with them 2-4 weeks prior to graduation... @Pac0898 when did/do you graduate?

Hi, everyone. I applied for the New Grad ICU Resource Team and just finished my third (and final) interview on Friday. Still waiting to hear back. The interview process happened all in one week, was kinda intense. Hope everyone gets hired, we earned it!

The nurse manager I interviewed with said they are hiring for ICU resource, acute care resource, and maybe peds resource. This is at the Tisch/Kimmel location.
the brooklyn location has spots open for their ED.

Sorry, don’t know if I’m too late to this. What round are you in? The first interview was just the recruiter getting to know me. Second interview was generalized scenario questions to get to know my personality. Let me know how it goes!

It was my final interview! It went well, it was the nurse manager, and it was pretty straight forward

Thank you for creating this thread. I’m going to be interviewing soon! Does anyone have any insight on any previous applicants who have completed the residency and shared their experience? Are nurses at NYU generally happy? Trying to gauge how the culture is compared to other facilities in the city! ??

Hi! I'm interviewing for an MICU position and was wondering if you could let me know what questions they asked you? I heard the nurse manager is a bit rough for the ICU.

Hi Amber. I'm currently applying for a MICU position as well and was wondering if you can give some tips on how the interview went? Types of questions asked and if you like working there if you currently do? Thank you.
