  1. For yall buying scrubs the official dress code is: hunter green, surgical green, or seafoam green. But tbh there are variations of green that the nurses wear. Figs wise I see alot of the forest green and surgical green.
  2. It was my final interview! It went well, it was the nurse manager, and it was pretty straight forward
  3. Hey! I applied to the acute float team and the ICU float team. I have my interview tomorrow afternoon! Do you have any tips for what they may ask or how to handle the interview, im super nervous hah
  4. Hey! Thanks for making the thread! I applied on the 12th to the Tisch/Kimmel Opening and the LI opening on the 18th. I got an email today from I assume a recruiter asking for my GPA as well as what units im interested in. Does anyone know what units are hiring for the fall residency, also when it starts?
  5. From the POV of a new grad in NY its taking about that if not longer from what I was told. But some recruiters at least were aware of the situation.
  6. Hey! While im not in the West Palm Area, I am a new grad on the gulf coast FL (waiting to take the NCLEX). So far I have been offered two jobs in my area they offered: 1) Days in the PICU paying 28/hr 2) Nights in Peds ER/Trauma Center paying 32-33/hr with differential There is some range depending on hospital and area but most will be arounf the range of 27-34 with differentials being typicall 3-5 for nights from what I've seen and heard with my cohort. If you have any questions about hospitals in the area or even over on the east coast don't hesitate to reach out!
  7. I logged in but for some reason it shows nothing under the "status" part, like as if I've never applied. But when I click any of the fellowships I did apply for it says "already applied", hopefully I didn't do something wrong there
  8. same question here, all of them still say Spring haha, do we just apply to those ones? Am an august grad!
  9. This is probably so dumb, but I applied to the fellowship at northwell and I cant seem to find out how to check the status of my application(s). When I click the positions it says already applied but I cant seem to find like a dashboard of them. Would someone be able to help?
  10. I also applied and submitted the online interview portion! Good luck everyone!!
  11. Thank you for this! graduate in august and was wondering about NYU. Is there a specific new grad posting or just any RN posting is open, with new grads doing a residency?
  12. This is extremely helpful thank you so much! I wasnt sure if there wasnt a special new grad posting or openings. But once I pass the boards ill just keep applying and hope for the best! Good luck!
  13. Thank you so much! For NYU its all just one big app pretty much? and do they hire around that time after I graduate in august and pass the NCLEX?
  14. I graduate my program in August and was wondering where, like website/link, I shoudl be looking for when its time for me to apply. Im from NYC and would like to stay in the area as a new grad as well! Thank you so much!
  15. Hey! in a similar position. Sallie may gave me an interest rate I think is too high, and I cant get any more federal aid from my first degree. Id say shop around and see where you can get the lowest interest rate! if you find anything lmk!
