@jessvinci I didn't because I didn't want to apply anything that required experience working as a nurse already because I don't have that!

@njjl I reached out to HR. The lady I talked to isn't a recruiter, but she said that as far as she knows, the program isn't canceled yet. I also expressed my frustration with there not being any open positions available for new graduates. All of them require experience ><

Ugh I wish they would let us know if we are still being considered or if them not getting back to us means they are going to choose other people. I was really hoping to get this position. ?

Random question... for NCLEX registration do we use the name that is on our drivers license because on my drivers license it says my first middle and last name. Or do we use the name that is on our diploma/ certifications because mine is just my first and last name on those?

Does anyone who went to school in new york state have an idea about how taking NCLEX will be impacted due to covid? I went to school in PA and a large number of testing centers have closed, which will make scheduling NCLEX exceptionally difficult. I applied to NYU and instead of getting reciprocity in NY (my initial plan), I may just take my exam there. Any thoughts?

Hi there! I applied to the residency program back in February and have not heard back yet. I have a friend who applied for the NYU residency program who graduated in Fall 2019 and it took her 3 months to get an answer back and started working a month ago . Clearly, this was before COVID but I'm assuming they will take more than 3 months to get back to us. Don't worry, there are plenty of jobs for us in NYC ;)
