Hey guys! I haven't seen a thread for this yet so I thought this would be helpful to keep each other updated. Have any of you heard anything about the program yet?

They told me to email back in about 2 weeks for an update but when I responded with a question I didn't even get an answer LOL. As far as the job hunt goes its been miserable. I went to a small private school in NY and my goal was to stay in NYC post-grad. Now all the hospitals seem to be on hiring freezes. I've applied out-of-state/ all over the U.S. and have been getting rejected or hearing nothing. It's been a grueling process... ?
Hang in there! I would also suggest applying in Upstate NY, if you are okay with moving! I know Albany & Binghamton & Rochester are always hiring new grads (I have had a lot of my classmates get jobs there)!
As for HR, I did not know that they would prolong this freeze till Spring! They have not told me anything further than, reach back in 5 weeks each time I email ?

I have a friend who applied for the NYU residency program who graduated in Fall 2019 and it took her 3 months to get an answer back and started working a month ago . Clearly, this was before COVID but I'm assuming they will take more than 3 months to get back to us. Don't worry, there are plenty of jobs for us in NYC ?
Really? Because recruiters tell me that there are very few new grad jobs ... wonder really where to search...

From what I can gather, no, or at least not any time soon. ? A recruiter told me there are no open positions for new grads at this time & they are still on a hiring freeze. I hope something changes soon but it doesn't seem super promising
