PMHNP Program Admission Tips
Hi -- looking at the Fall 2021 class for Hunter's PMHNP program - Because this program full time is 3 1/2 years which seems longer than other schools' programs I'm wondering if it's possible to work 36 hours/week. What are your thoughts?

Is it worth relocating?
I'm in vice versa situation - in Brooklyn, but would have to move upstate if accepted as a new grad ICU nurse. Trying to formulate an answer to quell the fear of "lots of downstate ppl move back after a year of experience..." I want to sound genuinely interested in staying upstate as long as I can, but life's circumstances may make it harder to do so... any thoughts on what you would say that doesn't promise too much or promise too little?

Prospective applicant here for 2021 - the full time curricula is Summer to Summer so do we pay exactly one year of tuition or more? Around 46k?

PMHNP Program Admission Tips
Right, I agree with where you're coming from. What's with the more burdensome requirements for some states like NY? Kind of insane to do a run around and settle back in NY if I had to, but makes sense to take a new grad job elsewhere if the pace is similar to your 250k...

PMHNP Program Admission Tips
I called USI previously, but because my residence is NY, I couldn't apply...? What is that rule about? Doesn't everyone take the national boards to become PMHNP certified anyways?

How much does the name of the PMHNP program matter later when finding a job? Trying to weigh the cost vs reward. Ex. Hunter College vs Yale Looking to apply for 2021. Thanks!

Should I accept my first job offer?
CONGRATS! I have an offer but I'm wondering if I should accept it while I wait for other opportunities before November. Any idea on how this plays out contractually or if the former hospital will never consider me again, etc?

Cedars Sinai New Grad Summer 2020
Hey guys! CONGRATS to everyone in this cohort's process - I'm interested in applying to the Fall Cohort - waiting for the portal to open up - a couple questions: 1. If I request recommendations to be written now - do I need them to specify which position I'm applying for or can they make it out generally that I'll be a good fit for Cedars Sinai -- 2. Which positions opened up during this cohort? 3. Is critical care one position or do they separate ER and ICU positions? Thanks!
