Published

Hey guys! I haven't seen a thread for this yet so I thought this would be helpful to keep each other updated. Have any of you heard anything about the program yet?

Has anyone heard anything, what units are people interviewing for?

I spoke to recruiter yesterday, but she said she will see what positions are available and get back to me. She said they just hired a bunch of people that are currently interviewing.

Hello! Just wanted to clarify on your post. When you said they just hired a bunch of people that they are interviewing you mean they got put on the “offer waitlist” since they are in a hiring freeze?

sorry, yea the way I wrote it is confusing. Meaning a bunch of people coming in that are interviewing on units. Not that were hired obv because they have to interview on the units ... I didn't hear anything about a hiring freeze though.. Did that help?

Yes, thank you!

Have they reached out to everyone about the nurse residency program?

How does one get in touch with a recruiter?

Question..........should I have my RN before applying? or are people getting interviews without having taken NCLEX?

Hope this helps someone. Heard from the recruiter last week asking if I am still interested and available. According to the recruiter, the freeze is still on but they want to get a better idea about people on the waitlist and if they are working elsewhere. Also said future hire is not guaranteed and the position, if offered, could be for a unit different from the one I interviewed for. Been on the waitlist for months. Good luck everyone!

Apploed and sent follow up email to recruiter before taking the NCLEX-RN. I was told by the recruiter to contact them after getting my license. So it's probably better to have your license before expecting an interview, but nothing wrong with applying before you test.
