Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

Hi Nursingstudentmoe,

Did you end up interviewing for inpatient? Have you received any updates regarding OR?

I originally interviewed for OR but then this week interviewed for Inpatient with a nurse manager, now waiting to hear back.

Thank you so much everyone. Hopefully everyone hears back soon!!

I'm looking to apply to NYU's Nurse Residency and noticed they require the applicant to have graduated from an NLN- or CCNE accredited BSN program. I will graduate from an ACEN accredited BSN program. This is also a well recognized accreditation. My question is, will I be rejected? Anyone graduated from an ACEN accredited program and offered a new grad position with NYU?

Hello all! I am a December 2017 grad and have accepted a position for a start date of February 5th. I was not provided with much information as to the paperwork process. What do we need to do before our start date in regards to a physical, paperwork, etc.? Thank you and happy holidays!

Congrats

When was your interview? Was it inpatient? I have met with a nurse manager and I haven't heard anything yet :(

Thank you @nursingstudentmoe :) Yes it was inpatient and way back in October I went in for an interview with the nurse manager/ nurse recruiter. It took quite awhile to get the official offer though. Have faith and check in with your nurse recruiter weekly!!

Did anyone get a job without their licence?

Hi! So if anyone was worried like me (aka my last post), the med exam is incredibly easy haha. And also, if anyone has any info on the orientation schedule, please let me know! Thank you in advance!

Anything about the orientation schedule yet? This is making it hard to set up child care!!

I emailed my recruiter and she said that January 8th and 9th are official orientation days but that an email would be coming soon in regards to the rest of the month.

Okay I guess we'll wait! Thanks!

When I went for my physical they told me that all orientation info would be sent out about a week prior to starting and that our official schedules would be given within the first 3 days of orientation while we are at 1 Park Ave

Hello, where was the physical?
