Members are discussing the hiring process at NYU Langone, sharing experiences with phone screens, interviews, and references. Some express frustration with the website, while others offer advice on navigating the application process and timelines for hiring. Questions about salary offers for new grads and comparisons between hospitals are also brought up.
Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?
How did you make a kerberos ID? And I keep getting emails from nyu focus in regards to the orientation at the church on the 7th.
I got an email from the woman I am working with from talent acquisition. It had 3 steps in it. The first one is where you make a Kerberos ID. And do you mean in the 8th? On the Onboarding site it says that we start at 8:30 am on the 8th at 1 Park Ave. I'm assuming that we will be going to the church after our time at Talent aquisition.
hi again! i was wondering if you guys knew what the exact differential rate was for working nights? i'm assuming we all have the same starting salary as a new grad, which is 93700, so I was wondering if that included the night differential (only because a recruiter told me differently)?
I was told the night differential is $5600 and that it wouldn't be included in the offer letter, so once we start working nights it would get added on.
Hey for those of you still waiting to hear back....
I interviewed for periop in October and just received an offer today for February start. I had stopped getting the email updates everyone else was and was on the verge of giving up but decided to contact my recruiter one last time last week who said he would see about additional opportunities.
Not sure if that was what did the trick, but I encourage those who haven't heard anything for weeks (or months) to just be persistent and stay positive (:

Thank you for this! I am one of those waiting to hear back. And I am going crazy, I email my recruiter once a week and get the same response, pretty much to wait. I hope I hear something soon, I am really want to work soon.
