Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

Has anyone heard anything since the last email?

Just got my rejection email today...

Anyway, good luck to everyone!! :)

Nope I haven't heard anything :(

Sorry to hear that! Hopefully you'all be able to find a job elsewhere. Can I ask you what floors you interviewed for?

Still nothing!

@bvbcljb7 Same here. I was expecting something today because it's been a week since the last email but nope :( I'm wondering if I should email my recruiter again

Thanks! I interviewed for acute medicine and neuro ICU.

That's so frustrating that NYU hasn't gotten back to guys yet. This means it will might even be longer for their next interview day so who knows how long myself and others will have to wait...

I got an offer for start date of this upcoming week for one of the units I interviewed for. For everyone waiting, apply apply apply to different places. It never hurts to have your resumes out there. Pick up a RN position doing flu shots or health screening or volunteer. Make that resume something that stands out. 1 week after I started a job as flu nurse, I updated my resume and sent to all I interacted with at nyu- the different recruiters i met, emailed with, and the nurse managers I interviewed with. An updated resume means you're working on yourself and keeping up to date with practice not just waiting for a job offer. I think that made the difference. And dont feel youre being pushy by emailing recruiters. Theyre all super nice and get back to you within a reasonable time frame. I would wait about 1.5 - 2 weeks between checking in on the status of your application. Cobsistency is key. Theyll remember your name after seeing it pop up in theur inbox so often í ½í¸…í ¾í´£

My offer was (according to them) last minute for me to join the November residency, but I didn't hesitate one second. Within 48 hours everything paperwork wise was set and signed. If u interviewed only on the interview day, HR will have you come in to do a medcalc competency exam of 15 questions that u need to get a 100% on. Don't be nervous like me! They'll give 1 more chance if u mess up.- calculators provided. I will update according to how the residency goes so yall have an idea of what to expect when you come in. As of right now, its an honour to have been given an opportunity to interview and actually receive an offer. Im still in a state of shock!

So awesome to hear! Congratulations! What floor will you be working on? Also, do you already have your nursing license?
