Members are discussing the hiring process at NYU Langone, sharing experiences with phone screens, interviews, and references. Some express frustration with the website, while others offer advice on navigating the application process and timelines for hiring. Questions about salary offers for new grads and comparisons between hospitals are also brought up.
Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?
Good luck, girl! I had my phone interview and met with HR in person in October. Let me know how it goes and if you get any updates on upcoming interview days!
Thank you! :)
I'll be letting you guys know what goes on and what questions I recieved when the phone call comes! I heard that the November interviews for the (Fall 2017 Gradutes) won't start until March/Apirl? But I'm not sure.

I think that would be a sensible start date for new graduates that don't have their license yet. I'm still waiting for another interview day to open up to interview with managers. HR said they're still planning it! Do you have your nursing license yet?

I don't! I figured they'd know that because it said Fall 2017 Graduate Residency Program but I have seen some posts where people said they asked them to let the know when they're graduated and have their license
Thank you for the encouragement. I still haven't heard anything, but I was doing some more research today and realized they have two pages that describe the new grad residency. One (Nursing Jobs | NYU Langone Health) calls for GPA over 3.5, and transcripts. And the other (Nurse Residency Program for New Graduates | Hospital for Joint Diseases) also calls for two letters of recommendation. I trusted the first one because it seemed more current and updated with the website and wasn't affiliated with HSS. Maybe this was wrong, do I need to get recommendation letters to be considered?
