I have noticed there isn't a thread for those applying for NYU Accelerated Nursing Fall 2014. Let's share feedback, advice, stats, etc... I went to an open house today at NYU. They really do stress that since there is no interview, the personal statement is our chance to prove ourselves. They also said they get about 1,000 applicants and a Fall entrance class usually have about 150 students in it.
Musing, that (unfortunately ) sounds about right, because most of the people on this forum who got accepted said they most likely won't attend...I am still thinking about calling, but I heard that if you call it gets noted in your file. So I am not sure yet..Anyone else want to call

Really? Why would making a phone call be noted in your file?
from other forums i've read, it seems like they send acceptance letters to the people they absolutely want, then wait list, and lastly the rejection letters =[ i'm just speculating.. there's still hope! *crosses fingers*
I'm not sure, that is what I heard. I know the school that I attend now (Loyola) makes note of it.. This process is brutal! I'm already making other plans..
Do any of you know if NYU will allow you to defer? I found some info on the NYU website that talks about freshman deferring, but nothing for second degree nursing students.
