I have noticed there isn't a thread for those applying for NYU Accelerated Nursing Fall 2014. Let's share feedback, advice, stats, etc... I went to an open house today at NYU. They really do stress that since there is no interview, the personal statement is our chance to prove ourselves. They also said they get about 1,000 applicants and a Fall entrance class usually have about 150 students in it.
@planemo Yeah, I think it says in the website that they will email you a confirmation of your application. But, if you are already seeing things checked off you might be good. I would give them a call to find out.
I just went through my saved inbox, I did receive a very short email from NYU stating that they received my app. I guess its just been so long that I forgot. I wonder if they have sent out any rejections yet...
@planemo I'm always looking at that initial email from NYU because it has that link to see the application status. I was looking at it everyday for a while- looking to see if something changed! I got a little crazy. I'm better now, just hopeful and full so much anticipation!!!
Hello everyone! Good luck to all of us waiting to hear back and congrats to all that were accepted! I am soo nervous and excited at the same time. I keep checking my inbox like a madwoman every Tuesday and Thursday. I really hope I get in, this is my dream school and the only one I applied to.
