Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

No... we have about an hour left... I’m very disappointed. So many schools have notified students before this whole pandemic and NYU still nothing... I’m excited I’m starting nursing school somewhere but was really hoping for NYU. I guess you can’t get it all...
It IS crazy that they're so late with this process. I have an acceptance for NEXT Spring already so it sucks that NYU can't be a little quicker. Oh well. All we can do is keep waiting and hope to hear! Fingers are crossed for everyone.

Thank you! I got into Drexel! They have an 11 month ABSN program so I'll be finishing about the same time I would if I got into NYU for Fall which is nice. And ooh maybe! I guess they have other things to be working on today LOL
