Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

yeah, I figured that it doesn't affect my chances of getting accepted. However, will it affect my financial package if I just submitted the application? I did my fafsa in March.
This is it for me today. If I don’t hear from them today I’m gonna have to choose another school. I’m not going to lose that opportunity because NYU is too slow.

My portal looks the same also. I actually couldn’t wait since they are taking SO long , I submitted everything to NYU on Feb 29th. I didn’t want to risk losing my seat at another school, so I already accepted. I can’t help but still be curious if I will make NYU, but regardless, I can’t accept at this point anyway. They need to pick up the pace a bit LOL.
I’m hoping if I do get in , and I decline that at least my seat can go to someone else who hasn’t been accepted anywhere else. It was a tough decision to make because it is after all NYU, and they are the BEST but I couldn’t chance it.
