NYU Accelerated Nursing Fall 2020

Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?

Here's my stats:

Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)

Physio: A-

Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)

Chem for health sciences: C+

Nutrition: A

Stats: C

Lifespan dev: B

Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

Feel free to comment whatever is on your mind. What are your stats? Where are you from and what other schools will you be applying at? Help a sistah out!

I have a friend attending the program right now who applied a year ago and she didn't get an acceptance until near the end of May! From what I've heard/seen so far it seems like they wait until June to send out the rejections. Have hope guys ?

Oh, damn. So I could be waiting until June for a rejection? That sucks!

I think they wait for people to decline or forfeit their spot and then move down the list that’s why it takes a long time. I wish there was some kind of sign to hint us of our fate

I believe that to be the case as well! Lets hope we're further up on that list!

Have any rejections been sent out yet or do they wait til the very end to send those out?

Last year I was rejected around this time. So doubt they wait until June ( the end)

IDK but on the fb page created for those accepted, there’s like 30 people. I hope they take like 200 LOL

I had to fill out 2 CSS profiles for both my parents and financial aid in order to get an award package
