Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.
Feel free to comment whatever is on your mind. What are your stats? Where are you from and what other schools will you be applying at? Help a sistah out!

This program historically tends to do acceptances pretty much only on Friday afternoons so we might be waiting a few more days for another round of acceptances.
Soooo my checklist just disappeared.... I am so nervous. I think I read somewhere that even if your check list disappears you can still get rejected. Anyone else have a check list disappear in the last few days? How are you feeling about it?

can you guys please clarify what you mean by checklist disappearing? Do you still see something checked off for FAFSA, but everything else is gone? Is that what you're referring to?
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to instill any anxiety or stress in you especially with all the stress we are already dealing with right now. I've seen mixed reviews with some people and their check lists. It might not mean much anyways.

Yes. Everything is gone except my fafsa check list.
yes, same here. mine disappeared over a week ago, everything except the FAFSA thing. I am trying hard not to read into it based on previous threads , some got in, some haven't . I kept thinking that with this whole pandemic that nursing programs would be less competitive since there is such a strong need for all of us , but that might be wishful thinking LOL

Long time lurker here, I heard back from someone at NYU this morning asking me to submit a Transfer Midterm Report. I didn't see anything like that when I was filling out my common app but I just found the form on the NYU website. I emailed my profs asking them to fill it out. Now just waiting.
Did anyone submit a Transfer Midterm Report while filling out the application originally?
