NYU ABSN Spring 2020

Hello everyone!

My name is Kaitlyn and I was recently accepted into NYU Meyers as a Second Degree (non-accelerated) student. I'll be finishing up my prerequisite courses at NYU this Fall 2019 and will then begin the ABSN curriculum with, hopefully, some of you all in the Spring 2020 cohort!

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone to communicate on as you all work on getting your applications in ?

What if we still haven't heard back yet? Are they still sending out acceptances?

Yes, they’re still sending out acceptances. According to the NYU site, you could be notified as late as January. You’ll hear back regardless of whether you’re accepted or rejected, so don’t give up hope yet!

I’m still waiting to hear back as well so I know how you feel!

Same here - still a checklist

Hi guys! I applied as a transfer in my sophomore year but I am not really sure when to expect a decision. I spoke to admissions and asked them generally when do students hear back and he said the latest is early December. But I did not ask specifically for transfer students with no bachelor's degree. Would anyone possibly know when I should be able to hear back? I am not sure if regular transfers get less chance of getting in or is expected to hear back later than ABSN applicants. Does anyone know when the next batch of acceptances are going out? Didn't get in this batch.

Stats: 3.59 GPA and have all prerequisites, all A's and 1 B.

Yes, I have been dying to know when are acceptance give out until? I have heard both December and January.

You should have a decision by the end of the day!! I just checked but mines still there. I submitted Oct 14th. Keep is updated!!

I got accepted on the 8th, we have to accept or decline by the 22nd. So i believe the next batch of acceptances will go out that night, or soon after that date. I’m declining because I got no money, so hopefully someone who really wants it fills my spot! Good luck!
