Hello everyone!
My name is Kaitlyn and I was recently accepted into NYU Meyers as a Second Degree (non-accelerated) student. I'll be finishing up my prerequisite courses at NYU this Fall 2019 and will then begin the ABSN curriculum with, hopefully, some of you all in the Spring 2020 cohort!
Just wanted to start a thread for everyone to communicate on as you all work on getting your applications in ?
Best of luck to you all!

I got into NYU and Mercy College and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to attend. Which do I choose??
HELP!!!
I haven't heard from NYU yet but am having the same issue deciding on the other schools I have been accepted to so far. I've paid deposits on two, pretty much ruled two out, now was called off a waitlist for another which would cost A LOT less but set me back because it doesn't start til May. The humongous loan amounts are overwhelming and the entire process is stressing me out. Good luck with your choice. In the end, we will all come out with a BSN so I'm not sure how much it matters which school we choose. I think you have to consider length of program, cost, location - meaning this is where you will spend the next 1-1/2 years and you need to be happy and ok with that. I looked at two in Massachusetts this week and the one with the "better name" was in a terrible location with no campus life and I can't see myself holed up there for the next 14 months so I am considering the other.
Thank you so much guys. I appreciate the feedback.
I am grateful for NYU's offer but at the same time I don't want to commit financial suicide.
Mercy's program is 3 months longer which means more clinical experience. Their tuition is half of NYU's plus I don't have classes every day which means I can actually 'breathe'

How much is each school?
