Soo......is anyone planning on applying to NYU for their Spring 2017 program....does anyone have any advise about NYU?

So sorry. I hope you will get in another or at least apply again.

Best wishes.

thanks a lot, yea I'm staying hopeful : )

Hi everyone,

Just checked my account and looks like I got accepted! I was too afraid to look last week when I got the email, and I just got an email this morning talking about financial aid so I figured I had better look. I haven't decided if I'm going to accept or not...I live in California now and it is EXPENSIVE. I got a $3,000 scholarship, but even with that, paying for the next 5 semesters is daunting. Is anyone moving from California? Has anyone figured anything out financially?

The school is expensive even as a new york resident...cannot imagine the cost/debt post grad for students moving across the country. :(

So far no letter for me yet,I'm still staying positive...

I still haven't gotten letter yet either! Oh well...

So far no decision yet and no email. Not sure what to do now cause still waiting for Adelphi and NYIT to get a decision from. NYU need to do better with their decisions dates because it's December and most of us are still waiting on them so that we can start planing our lives for the next 18 months

they said december 2nd would be the next decision release. They do it once a week every friday

Hi everyone,

I am planning on applying in february/march to nyu's 15 month accelerated program and am wondering about my chances of getting in.

Right now (fall 2016) I am taking chemistry and statistics at Wellesley and will likely receive a B- in stats and a B in chemistry.

Then I will be taking online lifespan psych and nutrition courses in january and plan to be finished with them by the time I send in my application.

In the summer I will be taking A&P 1, 2, and microbiology at a local community college.

If I can aim to have a B- or higher in my prerequisites and I have a 3.4 gpa, majoring in Computer Science and Art at Wellesley, how do my chances of acceptance look?

I do not have much volunteer/clinical experience, but I do have experience doing 1-1.5 years of research at a lab at MIT.

Do you have any tips/advice on how to make my application stronger?

Thank you!

I'm wondering what everyone is doing financially as well... I'm getting a little something in financial aid and I got the scholarship for ~$3000 as well, but it's nowhere near what I need to cover the expenses of tuition and living expenses (especially if I'm not generating income for the next 15 months. What other options are there? Private loans? Any suggestions?

People who have been accepted, how long does NYU give you to accept/deny your acceptance and hold your place?

Two weeks from the date of the letter, but I actually asked for an extension bc I'm still researching private loans and they gave me an extra week.
