Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!

That was me! I mentioned what NYU tweeted about admissions. However, I think that for this program because of the deadline we might not hear back until mid April and as far as mid June. The wait and uncertainty is nerve wrecking, but after getting rejected from Pace I am kind of just waiting patiently.

This program has pretty consistently rolled out decisions on a weekly basis. In the previous cycle, they started the Friday after the deadline. I received my waitlist notice in December, which felt like an eternity after the October deadline. The letter regarding the waitlist closing came a week before classes were scheduled to start.
Not ideal for anyone trying to plan a living situation in the city but just be prepared to find out closer to June!
It’s definitely quite an emotional ride, refreshing your portal once a week...

I wasn’t sure what to do because I remember seeing something on nyu meyers’ page saying to receive institutional aid you need to submit a CSS profile as well as a FAFSA
Just now, christinast said:I submitted both so I could be considered for any type of scholarship. They recommend doing so in their information session as well
yes — I believe the deadline is tonight 11:59pm? I had to submit a custodial css profile and a noncustodial css profile b/c my parents are divorced! just want to make sure everyone on this thread has their ducks in a row for finaid, nyu is crazy expensive ?
