Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
Hi all! I submitted my application before the priority deadline of March 1, but my applicant portal didn't update saying they'd received my transcripts until after March 1 (even though I sent them electronically before - and they had been received before March 1 according to the transcript services from my schools). Do you think my application will still be reviewed with the other priority ones?
I had the same problem. I mailed in my transcripts in early February and submitted my application on February 28th. After receiving my NYU Portal login on March 3rd, all 3 of my transcripts had the "awaiting" status. I emailed undergraduate admissions about the situation, and they replied, saying none of them even arrived at NYU yet. I was freaking out by this point and ordered the transcripts that same day as pdf documents and paid for expedited shipping. Thankfully, all were received by NYU this morning. I again emailed undergraduate admissions, and by noon, everything was received, which finally completed my checklist. If I were you, I'd send an email to undergraduate admissions requesting confirmation that your transcripts have arrived, as they were extremely helpful and quick!
I still haven't heard from NYU to give me my ID to check on my application status ? I did only apply by the priority deadline though so I guess it might take longer to get back to me.
You should email admission bc I didn’t get my information to check my admission status but once I emailed they didn’t reply to my email but they sent my info LOL

Thanks! Turns out they sent my info to a completely different email that I barely use so I never checked. Gotta update those email preferences LOL.
