Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
Hi is everyone still able to view their checklist in Albert? I randomly decided to check my application status and this is the page I was brought to:
I submitted my application on 2/28. Today I got my nyu login, but wasn't instructed to go to Albert. I used the link they gave me, its the connect.nyu.edu site, and my application with checklist is in that site.
I have no idea how to log in through Albert. I hope it means something good for yall. I am so confused what priority deadline means for these programs/schools, because the mechanism is so difficult to figure out in terms of how they proceed.. however wish you all luck.
Don't worry, the school didn't instruct us to look at the Albert site. I would just be patient since the priority deadline (3/1) just passed this week, so they're probably going to evaluate everyone.
I’ve always been able to check my application status either way, but now only the Application Portal method is working for me. It could mean nothing because the application websites can be super glitchy, but I hope at least the the application review process has started.

Did you get the NYU ID numbers email to set up your password etc? (the one you get a couple of days after you submit your application)
In that email from NYU, there is an "applicant portal" link. After you set up your password go to your email, and click that link. Then you'll see your checklist. Mine's showing as not complete, but it says on their site that it takes them some time to make updates on their end.

I never got anything from NYU in regards to logging into Albert, just saw that here from your post.

Same! Nothing about Albert. Just the NYU id email, about NETid. Applicant portal.
My application was completed back in December so I wonder if they have begun the review process for priority deadline applicants. @so mo When did you submit your application?

There was 2 parts- the first one was the "nyu start up" link to set up a password and your security questions. Then you leave that site and go to the "applicant portal" link and use that new password you set up.

Hey, it may take a few hours for the system to update and allow you to activate your NETID. I’d recommend just waiting a few hours and trying again, if it’s not ready by tomorrow then shoot them an email.
