NYU ABSN Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone was applying to NYU for the ABSN program in fall 2017? I'm kind of nervous because my GPA isn't the highest since I had to work all four years to help pay for school which took away from my studying time. I do have work experience in the health care field and a little over 100 hours of health related volunteering. Also, how is everyone planning on paying for school since it is soo expensive?

I received a decision and I still have two courses to take this summer.

hey guys, just made an account just to comment that I got my acceptance on friday and I applied for Early Decision. I will however be rejecting the offer because Im going to another ABSN program at my current college. I know in past years people have been told theyre on a "wait list", even thought they havent been told explicitly by email or Albert. Hopefully my spot goes to one of you guys!

For those who heard they were accepted, have you completed all of your prereqs prior to applying? Just curious, I am finishing A&P II and Micro now and wondering if I will have to wait to hear back after my final grades are submitted in May

I was accepted and I'm also finishing up A&P II and Micro in May so you shouldn't have to wait for grades to post.

I got accepted and I'm currently finishing up my pre-reqs in Microbiology and Lifespan. However, they want me to send them my final transcript when I am done with these two pre-reqs.

I wouldn't lose hope yet... from what I've read it seems like they definitely have more acceptance letters to send out. I'd give the admissions office a call and see if they can tell you when the next batch might be going out or if they have a status update on your application.

I just called and they weren't very helpful...they said the latest anyone would hear back is June 15th and I asked if they typically send them out every Friday or if it's random, and he basically said it's random

I called today as well, they were very rude and unhelpful. Basically applying priority doesn't mean anything and we will be hearing randomly up until June 15th.
