NYU ABSN Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone was applying to NYU for the ABSN program in fall 2017? I'm kind of nervous because my GPA isn't the highest since I had to work all four years to help pay for school which took away from my studying time. I do have work experience in the health care field and a little over 100 hours of health related volunteering. Also, how is everyone planning on paying for school since it is soo expensive?

Hi guys,

I was recently accepted into the accelerated program starting the Spring semester. I am trying to find the academic calendar for accelerated students. I came across this calendar on the NYU's website (file:///C:/Users/User/Downloads/BS%20Academic%20Calendar%20Fall%202017-Sum%202019.pdf). Does this calendar pertain to accelerated students as well as traditional? Also, does the administration ever make changes to the break/holiday dates shaded in gray?

I appreciate your help.

Hey, couldn't access what you posted but it looks like the same thing I'm linking you to below which runs from the current semester to Summer 2019. Accelerated and traditional students have the same schedule except traditional students don't attend classes in the summer.

No problem! The accelerated program is only 4 semesters so if you're starting next spring you should finish spring 2019.

Hello! Anyone here that got accepted to NYU ABSN program, would you mind sharing how you've answered the essay question where it asked why you chose NYU accelerated Nursing program?? I would appreciate your response.
