NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

I did okay in college, I got a 3.01 (didn't really know what I wanted to do, so I didn't try all that hard). I had a 3.7 in all of the pre-reqs, and I have been an EMT for two years.

Oh, and I got the email at 8:30 this morning, East coast time.

i think i had a similar issue to begin with. i think i had to make sure pop-up blocker was turned off first. then i tried again, did the drop down for cr crd and then clicked on make payment (to the right), this took me to another page to enter the credit card information on the nyu bursar office page. I think?

celticcub1_nurse2b - did you receive any confirmation of your acceptance of nyu's offer after you paid the deposit, other than the receipt from the bursar's office?

Congrats to all the new admits! I am off to drop off another set of transcripts this morning. I spoke to admissions again and they mentioned that April 1st was also the "transfer" deadline for all other non-nursing undergraduates so they have been inundated with applications and transcripts. So if you applied closer to the April 1st deadline it may be a bit longer than we all had hoped before we hear. Goodness I wish I had applied priority!

Out of curiosity- does anyone that has already been admitted have any incomplete pre-reqs that you're still working on finishing? I'm curious because on my application, I indicated I would be finishing two classes in the spring semester and two over the summer. I wonder how much of an impact that has on my application review...

I was accepted on Tuesday and I'm currently taking microbiology and a&p II. I will take Nutrition in the summer
