Nvcc fall 2016

Hi,

I just need some insight from all of you...I am planning to apply for nursing at NVCC for fall 2016. I have finished all my prerequisites and general requirement with the gpa of 3.7 but my teas score is on the lower side. I still have two chances to take it again but the student services have told me that since I passed I can't take it again. Is it true? If I were to take it again, will the nursing team take my highest score for consideration? Any help will be appreciated! 😊

I am also still waiting to hear if they processed my application and I sent mine via certified mail with the receipt. I did forget the manila envelope though. ?

No, unfortunately not. It's no earlier than next Friday. They are still processing applications as of now and should be done by the end of the week.

for those of you still waiting to hear back, students services said they had about another 100 applications to process. you should all hear back by the end of the week.

I forgot to send mine with the manila envelope as well but my application was still processed. I had also messaged the MEC student services asking if having forgotten that would automatically disqualify my application from further consideration. they said no. so try not to fixate on it, I'm sure you'll get your email in the next couple of days. especially since they posted on FB saying they had about another 100 applications to still process and that they had trouble sending emails out today.

That is encouraging, thank you! I called about the manila folder some time last week and they said it wouldn't disqualify me, but they couldn't guarantee that some of my application materials wouldn't get lost without the folder, which made me quite anxious.

This is quite the nail biting wait! I'm hoping we'll all hear something by tomorrow afternoon.

I just got a duplicate email saying my application has been processed so hopefully that means they have finished sending everyones out!

I got a duplicate email too. I hope this is it! and we get decision letters soon.

I also got a duplicate email. I'm hoping they'll be completely done processing applications by tomorrow so that everyone who hasn't received an email is able to finally get some sort of notification.

I got the notification that my app. has been processed. Hopefully everyone gets their notification soon!

I got my notification earlier today as well saying my application has been processed too. At least that is one less thing to wait for, now just have to wait to find out if we all get in.

I saw on the Facebook page that the earliest we will hear decisions is Friday of next week. So probably the following week. Good luck everyone!
