Hi,
I just need some insight from all of you...I am planning to apply for nursing at NVCC for fall 2016. I have finished all my prerequisites and general requirement with the gpa of 3.7 but my teas score is on the lower side. I still have two chances to take it again but the student services have told me that since I passed I can't take it again. Is it true? If I were to take it again, will the nursing team take my highest score for consideration? Any help will be appreciated! 😊
Hi, i just found thia thread ! Just have a couple question. I hope you can answer them. What was your score on the Teas? Mine aren't great the math section is okay but not the reading and writing. Math high 70's. Reading and english in the 65's. Im applying fpr the fall 2017. My gpa is 3.7 i will appreciate your help. Did you get in the Nursing program?
Hi! I was not accepted and have a 3.8, B's only in the science classes, scored in 60's for math and 83% and 74% for reading and English. Also I have taken all the co requisites. I'm retaking both sciences right now and am retaking the teas in the spring. I applied for both the traditional and the hybrid track and wasn't accepted to either. I think whoever got accepted can help you better though, from what I've seen those people had A's in the sciences/high gpa, and scored in very high 80's and 90's for the teas exam. Hope this helps and good luck to you!
Hi guys.
I'm going to apply to NVCC Northern Virginia Community College next month and I want to know if someone want to share how did you score at the TEAS n your GPA and if you got in or not? I just want to get some idea. My GPA is 4 and my TEAS is English 66% reading 72% and math 87%. I'm going to take the TEAS again. So let me know about you. Thank you.

It is disheartening to hear that the NVCC program is such a mess. I am currently taking prereqs and planning on applying for the Fall 2018 program, but it looks like I should start thinking about Plan B. Does anyone know much about Lord Fairfax's program?
I really hope NVCC gets things straightened out soon.
