I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

Hi everyone! Do you have any news about the November interview dates? I am really anxious if there will ever be a November schedule. Anyway, for those who have finished their medical already. What did they get from you? urinalysis, fecalysis, blood tests and x-ray? how about the fecalysis, do you have to do it there or can you just bring the sample from your house? What if you have your menstrual period during your medical, what will happen?Just asking in advance...Oh by the way, about the appointment letter. Where do they send it? to the lawyer or directly to us? Do we have to bring the original appointment letter? or can the lawyer just send it to us through email and we just print it?
Just wanted to know these details just in case I will be scheduled next month.
Anyone who were already done with these things please share your knowledge. thanks.
ei dude, u sound really anxious, cant blame u tho. anyway, when u receive the appt letter (they'll send it to your choice of agent, in my case, my emp), u would know what to do. u can have ur medical a week before ur interview, i did that, there were no problems. i had to go during a bad thursday, though, when milenyo hit manila badly. the windows on st. luke's were in danger of breaking apart, imagine the strength of the winds that day, and i had to go there, man!! i had to walk a thousand miles to go home (no public transpo in sight), but i'm not complaining hehe, just reminiscing... really bad timing...
anyway, come in the afternoon, no hassles that way, thanks to everyone in this forum who tipped me on that...there were blood tests for HIV testing, urinalysis for pregancy test, x-ray, no fecalysis (thank God), then nakedness, hehe, i mean physical exam requiring u to strip off everything, so pls dont come when u have ur menses, for ur sake..next day, if no problemo, immunization (MMR, chicken pox if u never had it), then release of xray, voila, finished...if u didnt get all this, no worries, everything is detailed on the appt letter, which u'll get pretty soon, i dont doubt it..He makes everything beautiful in His time.
on my interview day, mine was a 6.30 appt, i came 6 am, no problemo, no long lines for immigrant wannabes, only for non-immigs. there's a tv detailing all the steps over and over so no worries..i was interviewed 10am, pretty short interview for me..asked for licensure scores, license, where i'd stay, only 3 questions, then finished.. really friendly American male consul, even laughed when i said i had 75, said "just enough huh? 'chuckles' "..really nice guy, but not my type hehehehe...then finished at 10.30 after paying off delbros..
am now waiting for passport to be delivered this week or the next.. anyway, no worries, everything's ok, eh? agp? God bless u

Hi Lifehouse!
We were also interviewed last Oct. 6 8:30 a.m. and maybe we had the same consul, was he the one wearing lightblue colored shirt? we also waiting for our visa to be delivered, please post here if you already recieved yours and i will do the same.
Thank you! and Good luck, God Bless us all
nah, he was wearing pink, or something of that hue. cant really remember, too nervous to notice hehehe..ok kratos, hope we get our visas soon..
too bad there's already a cut-off date in the november 2006 visa bulletin. http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3046.html
it's those with priority dates of oct 1, '05 and earlier who'll get to be as what, "fortunate?" as us. anyway, many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails (prov. 19-21)
hi I'm new here. I heard about the latest news regarding the visa bulletin...indeed there's a retrogression taking effect. How will it affect those in Packet3 already and have submitted their docs to nvc for review? What will happen now? How long do we have to wait before schedule a becomes current again?
Now is a waiting game, nothing will happen to any files until something is sorted visa wise which won't be until I believe after the new year when representives as sworn in once elections are done next month. No one knows how long this will last and which countries will be prodominately affected

I have a question. It was only yesterday that I found out that I am 1 month pregnant. I dont know the policy of the US embassy about pregnant immigrant applicant. Are they still considering my situation to be given an immigrant visa? Or will I have to wait for my baby to be delivered here in the Philippines before they will give me an immgrant visa. Please respond if anyone has knowledge regarding the matter. Thank you.

My personal opinion is that you shouldn't have any issues being pregnant except if you do manage to get out to the USA before baby is born you will have issues with payment as you will probably not be covered by insurance. At present you are going to be affected by the retrogression and no one knows what is happening there and how long it will last. If still in the Phillipines your lawyer just needs to add baby to your case.
Thank you Silver Dragon 102 for your response. I guess Im not affected by the retrogression because my priority date was Sept 19, 2005. So im expecting to have my medical schedule and embassy interview sometime December or January. By that time, Im already 3-4 months pregnant. I dont know what to do, whom to ask. Should I call the US embassy about this? If you have known anyone or you have friends who are in the same posiiton as I am, hope you can share her experience with me. Thank you.
What does the Visa Bulettin mean about retrogressed "Schedule-A" on 01 Oct 2005? Does it mean that this date is also CURRENT? My PD is July 2005. That is written in my I-140. Hopefully I would get Packet-4 sooner or later because I asked the US consulate if they receive my Pkt-3 from NVC. It has been forwarded since 23rd Aug. I was told to wait for Pkt-4 unless this is current. I don't understand what they mean.

Hi Josefa. We're in the same stage. I also just submitted my ds230 to nvc and still awaiting for the outcome of the review.. it's been two weeks now. Anyway, it's been a stressful week for us since the visa bulletin came out. We don't have much choice but to wait until visa numbers are available again. I've been on the computer almost the whole day yesterday hoping to find answers regarding the retrogression .
You have nothing to worry about you being pregnant. There are posts from other forums by nurses who became pregnant during the processing of their papers and everything just went well. Consider it a blessing, as they say pregnancy brings you luck.:balloons:
Pls let me know if your case is complete already. keep me posted.
