I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

hi der. mine was completed last august 29. i think we are on the same batch. there must be a cutoff in every batch of cases they send to manila coz i know somebody with a case completed last august 19 who made it to the SEPT11 batch... i think everybody here who already got their interview date on OCT belongs to the SEPT11 batch.. sadly, we did not make it..
i have a question though, does anyone know if NVC send completed immigrant visa cases on a monthly basis? or they do this every 3months only? thanks in advance!
We are definitely on the same batch. I'm sure we will be included in the next batch of papers to be sent to Manila and scheduled for interview. let's just keep on praying that there will be visas left for us.
hello agp ph..... I emailed NVC again this week and got the same response, must be generic. I am currently searching for the NVC number and will call tonight!!! I hope we are on the same batch:wink2: Just wonderin though, IF and WHEN we get our visas this year and were asked by our employers to leave asap, would we?

Hi jakey, I also got email from Nvc. Still with the same response. I guess our documents will be sent to Manila on the next batch probably October.
As for the time of departure, it depends on your employer because they will be the one to tell you when they want you to report for work.

That's great! My case was also completed this september.. but i think it's on the 3rd week. I hope i could also be scheduled on the next batch :)

Jakey: Can you please share your timeline to us.
After the NVC received your DS230/ Biographic data from the lawyer how many months you've waited before completion?
When NVC receives it from your lawyer, wait at least three to four months for the completion of your case and that is only if visas are current or available.

Check ur case status on the first 2 weeks of OCTOBER... usually, they send the cases to manila on the first 2 weeks of the month... don't get too much excited coz our batch could already be affected by the retrogression... But nobody really knows... GoodLuck to our batch... Hope there's still visas left for us..

base in my case,just wait approximately 6 weeks from the time your case was approved to the time you will now your embassy interview.it would be better that you email NVC for detailed information regarding your case.hope this will help....:wink2::wink2::wink2:
Lets pray that there still a visa left for November and also for the Bill to become a law as soon as possible.
Check the manila embassy website for the schedule which they update usually on the 15th of the month.
You may also email NVC on the 2nd week of October to get the new batches of schedule for embassy interview for the month of November.
According to the Visa Bulletin for the month of October, Visa is still current. If there is a retrogression, they announce it on the visa bulletin a month earlier, so if there is no mention of a retro on the October visa bulletin, probably you will still get your visa this november. Just keep your fingers crossed. Good Luck to all of you guys!
