I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

No interview sked for me yet. I dont know when will that be. Darn, a big part of me just dont want to leave the country "yet". I am still enjoying my job so much and my god, I want a lovelife. bwahahaha

Hi bottomless_appetitite... Don't put your chance to go to the US on hold for a lovelife. hah,hah. There will be lots of more deserving guys in the Us. Who knows you might meet a handsome single doctor.:blushkiss
The important thing right now is to get an interview scked before the visas run out. Lovelife can wait.
hello everyone. How does one find out his case completion date?
I emailed NVC last week all they said was "All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (attorney) will be notified." Does anyone know what this means? I asked our immigration lawyer and all he said was "we have received the case notice."...any thoughts on these?
Hi jakey, didi you try calling the NVC automated rewsponse to find out when your case was completed? I also have the same message above everytime I email NVC but when I called their automated response, the date of completeion was stated. Maybe we are batchmates. My case completiuon was Aug 23 but no interview schedule yet.:monkeydance:

Hi. You have to inform your lawyer or whoever handles your petition to send you the appointment letter. You need that for st lukes and you can ask for your packet 4 there(st lukes). You can have your medical a week before your embassy interview. Just make sure to prepare all docs needed such as photocopy of passport, birth cert,marriage cert(if so), nbi and police clearance for the embassy interview . hope this answers your ? :wink2: Anyway feel free to ask again.
i just recieved my visa dis afternoon at 2:50pm!!!:bowingpur whoa!! isn't it great?!?!!? :rollwe've got our visas now..i feel excited but nervous as well..i dont wanna go anytime dis month nor next month..:sofahideri want to depart on november..hehehe i dont know if my agency would agree wid me on dis..i do hope they will..i still have to take d NCLEX there so i guess i need some more time to review before i leave..whoa!! heheheh
i called the call center..and they said they have recieve my documents from NVC and just wait for the appointment letter.. and if its already one week before my appointment and havent received anything.. i can just go straight to s. lukes and have the medical and ask them to provide me a letter to present at the embassy.. they said i can get the letter thenext day..
whew.. so stressed about this.. thank you so much for the inputs.. have u had ur interview already? how did it go? i downloaded the instruction packet via the us embassy website.. it says there.. i need to have the affidavit of support.. and job offer and salary letter from the hospital i will be working.. i mean.. i dont have all those bec my lawyer said all of those were forwarded to NVC.. does that mean i dont have to get another copy of those?
i have all the other docs like passport b. certificate.. police certificate.. NBI.. photo.. cenomar.. ds 230 II and I.. just those 2 stated above i dont have a copy..

I would like to ask you how many days it took for your visa to be delivered. When was your interview date? Are you in manila area or quezon city? Does it matter where you have your visa delivered, I mean will it take longer for the visa to be delivered if you have it addressed in the province like Cebu.
One more thing, did delbros text or call you what time they will deliver your visa so you could wait for it and personally recevie the said document.

hi der. mine was completed last august 29. i think we are on the same batch. there must be a cutoff in every batch of cases they send to manila coz i know somebody with a case completed last august 19 who made it to the SEPT11 batch... i think everybody here who already got their interview date on OCT belongs to the SEPT11 batch.. sadly, we did not make it..

hello agp ph..... I emailed NVC again this week and got the same response, must be generic. I am currently searching for the NVC number and will call tonight!!! I hope we are on the same batch:wink2: Just wonderin though, IF and WHEN we get our visas this year and were asked by our employers to leave asap, would we?

It took me a long time from PACKET3 - Case Completion. Others took only weeks for their case to get completed after sending packet3. Does it take longer for a petition with DEPENDENTS to get completed??? Or it is really a case to case basis? Anyweis, goodluck to everybody. Its just a matter of time. Let's just hope that the coming visa retrogression will not last that long.

Hi again. Aside from the ones i mentioned in my previous reply, you are required to pass an affidavit of support from your employer,job offer, salary letter and also the visa screen certificate. My employer forwarded all these to nvc when they started processing my application and they will be sending me again an updated copy of these docs before my interview. My interview date will be on Oct 5. I have to be in Mla a week before that. About your appointment letter, did you ask your lawyer again if he has received your appointment letter? Do you have an agency? Its really very important that you have all those docs i mentioned above from your employer because if you dont have it, your visa might not be released until the us embassy has this. you have mentioned that your lawyer already sent these docs to nvc and for sure nvc has already forwarded these to the us embassy but they will still require you of an updated copy. This is very crucial because these docs will prove that indeed you have an employer in the states who will be willing to support you. They are strict re this matter because a lot of nurses were very disappointed when they reached the states only to find out that their employer doesnt exist. Tell your lawyer to provide you an updated copy of these docs. Hope this helps....:wink2: Goodluck to all of us. Update me with his reply.
