I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

That made me feel guilty, I've been backsliding, didnt realize it was the Sacred Heart's Feast Day yesterday.I was able to complete the Sacred Heart Novena before i took my NCLEX and everything i have fervently asked has been granted so far. Yep power of prayer.
Let's continue to pray we get our interview sched soon
Hi Kratos! Your lucky your agency and lawyer works fast. My I-140 approval was on Feb. 16, just a few days earlier than yours however I still have not received my DS230. Got email from NVC and they said it was already sent to my lawyer on May 29. My lawyer said they are still working on the DS230 of others who were ahead of me. I hope they will send mine soon so I can sign it and return it immediately. By the way, I am also going to NY.
I guess we'll just have to update ourselves on the current timelines of NVC to interview. As what I read here, it currently takes around two months from case completion to interview(as compared to 5 months in the previous batches). Hope it stays this fast.
Just would like to share my timeline as well:I-140 receipt notice: Dec. 8, 2005
I-140 approval: May 19, 2006
Case sent to NVC: May 22, 2006
Case number assigned by NVC: June 19, 2006
Choice of agent form received by NVC: June 21, 2006
How long do I have to wait for the visa fee bill? If I'm going to pay for bill who do I address the bank draft to? Thanks.
Hi Leis23. Are you do one processing your papers? you don't have a lawyer or agency? usually the agency and the lawyer takes care of this because all the papers are sent to the lawyer.
As for me, I paid for the visa bill of my husband since my agency will only pay for mine. But I sent my lawyer a check in his name and I guess he issued another check to the NVC.

Hello agp_ph!
Good Day! Mine was a bit delayed also, my agency paid my IV fee bill last april 22 and I recived my biodata forms last May 19 and sent it back to my agency last May 30. What i can suggest you to do is to get all the required documents like,Passport, NBI clearance, Police, Marriage/Birth cert. so when your forms arrived you can send it back to your agency right away.
NVC, as of this date have not recieved my forms. I uderstand your feelings, I guess its the waiting that is killing us! hehe. Good luck! Have a nice Day!
We had our medicals early this week. I won't go through the details but will offer some tips based on our own experience, observation, and feedback from several st. luke's staff, themselves:
1) Majority (except 1 very good post) here said that the earlier you go to st. luke's the better. This is NOT TRUE! We were there the 1st day past 10am and 3pm the 2nd day. Our total number of hours are less than those who came in early. Actually, we should've gotten in even later the 2nd day. This girl from Cebu came in during day1 at 1pm and we finished just about the same time. She said, the first few steps was a breeze since there's no more people at these frsit stages.
According to the guards and some clinic staff, there's a long queue during the early hours of the morning. And the process lengthens coz some of the labs/sections do not open till 7 or 8am. A security staff said that a lot of thos who line up as early as 3am gets very irritated come around 9am if there not yet finished...they kept on complaining that they were there very early. He goes, "who says you have to be here that early?"
2) Atleast 3 staff members (including the doctor who did one of our PE) said that the best day to go for your day1 is on Friday. and NEVER go on a Monday. We learned it the hard way...we went on a Monday. And it was crazy!
The reason being most of the people from the provinces prefer a Monday after a weekend. They also don't usually do their day1 on a Friday since that will mean spending more on the hotel for the weekend while waiting fro day2.
3) Best advice is to bring one yaya or relative for each of your babies/little kids. We can't imagine how we'll survive without the yaya
4) Have a very heavy meal before going to St. Luke's.
5) They don't accept dollars anymore. It's PhP 5130 for adults
Goodluck!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.Luckily for me I live just 10 minutes from St. Luke's clinic, but still I'll make sure I get there real early.
