I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hi kratos! Likewise with me, Im new also in this forum. Nway, regarding your paper at the NVC I think there are times that NVC's computerized answering machine is not updated on time. Try to check it from time to time.Mine also my DS 230 was sent back to my employer last May 22 few days ahead to yours. And the NVC received the documentation last June 12, 2006. I think we have the same status in NVC, just keep posted so that we can update our status.
Have a nice day and God bless...:nuke: :nuke:
Hi Crumvy!
Yes, I think we are on the same boat. Good for you NVC has recieved your forms already. Anyway, Hope my forms will reflect with my case number this week, maybe, as you said, the automated voice phone is not updated. I will try again to call NVC this coming Friday.
I am happy for all those people from this thread who are already done with their case, I pray that ours be soon also!
Thank You and Have a Nice Day!

Still waiting for my Pocket 3 bill. Just wan't to ask how long before NVC will send my P3 bill to my lawyer?
Thanks in advance. GOD BLESS.
Hello!
I think after that, they will send you your choice of agent form. You will going to return it to them and thats the time they will generate your fee bill.
Hope that I answered your question.
Goodluck!:heartbeat
yep, am busy now. taking care of the kids and the household.hehehe.
wifey has just started her "formal" hospital shifts 2 weeks ago (preceptorship). seems like her 10yr working experience in a national hospital back home is truly paying off. she's adjusted immediately, and doing really well. pays to be assertive and proactive too, in everything we do 'round here. keep that in mind.
am staying here in union city, ca. and having a blast.
my employment offer from the phils. for our south sf office still stands, although i haven't reported yet. would want wifey to "normalize" first. besides, this is the first looooonnnggg vacation i had since i started working. so i'm enjoying it while it lasts.
besides, lots to be accomplished. just done with whole family's ss#, cali id, bank account, recently received our "green cards," just passed written exam for driver's license, need to schedule for the actual driving exam.
once you guys arrive, accomplish your "documents" immediately. especially, your ss#.
congratulations to you, peanut and gwapo. have a safe trip.
leah, 2 days to go. good luck on your interview. trust me. once you receive your visas, it's like having a big load bein' lifted your shoulders. getting ready for the new load, i guess (new life here). hehehe.
hi nurse dep! thanks!! its good to hear that you and your wife are doing good there! what exactly are the things that i have to accomplish when i get there?? asyd from the ss number, the green card?? do you have any idea about the "military service" thing??? that for those male immigrants aged 18-27, they have to have their names registered into this agency (i forgot the name). any other male immigrants here who alredy did this?? :uhoh3:
Hi, I'm happy to be back! For the past couple of weeks I was so busy of my internet caf'e business which was moved to a new location. Actually, my concern here is about the question raised by Gwapo to Nurse dependent regarding enlisting those male immigrants ages 18 up into military service .I am very much worried because I have my son running 19 years of age which is also going with me in the States. I really don't like him to be in the military service. I hope this is not true. Please give us feedback on this matter. thanks!
HI Crumvy and Kratos,:typing

Hello vgsrn!
I'am glad that i have batchmates here! Still don't know where my agency is going to put me,they are based in NY but I guess that they will put me in either NY or NJ.
NVC have not recieved my forms yet, but my agency sent it already last May 30.I will call them this Friday and hope that they have it by that time.
Good luck to all of us!
Just would like to share my timeline as well:
I-140 receipt notice: Dec. 8, 2005
I-140 approval: May 19, 2006
Case sent to NVC: May 22, 2006
Case number assigned by NVC: June 19, 2006
Choice of agent form received by NVC: June 21, 2006
How long do I have to wait for the visa fee bill? If I'm going to pay for bill who do I address the bank draft to? Thanks.

so far, we're doing well, my friend.
i asked my wife about your query, she's got a roommate whose sons are coming to the US in a month. and she heard that her roommate will indeed register (or have to register) her sons to that agency. she heard that they've got some college benefits too.
so i guess, it's a must-requirement. i'm sorry, am not too knowledgable about this thing.
otherwise, take care of your SSN, or nothing will be done without this (opening a bank account, applying for a state id and/or driver's license, etc.). don't worry about your green card. once you enter the US, the processing is automatically triggered once you present your visa packet to the immigration officer in the airport.
oh, and one suggestion for those who are carrying their ultra-sized, mega-humongous x-ray results from st. luke...
if you have a CARRY-ON that can fit the xray (mid-size luggage, messenger bag), do it, stuff it inside your luggage. that's what i did. just make sure the xray is protected, or won't bend or develop creases. it's a hassle to be lounging with it in and around the airport. the immigration officer never asked for my wife's or mine. just make sure it's easily accesible in case the officer asks for it.
hi rod, nice to see you posting again ...
done with the interview yesterday..scheduled at 6.30 am and were done around 9.30 am..fast huh?!
hopefully next week our visa will be in our hands!!!
our consul even speaks in tagalog...my 2 sons were amazed!!
hahahaha
got only 2 questions with the consul...and a lot of questions from the filipino pre interviewer...and were done...!!
one suugestion...do not line up with those chairs outside embassy (those under the wating sheds) they will charge u php30...just go directly to the guard...even those who were scheduled at 8.00 were ushered inside..tho 6.30 am appointments were the priority...but there's a line to be followed...do not rely on those vendors...
goodluck everyone!!!

dont worry! we wont be literally entering into military! we just have to register our names.. the deal is: once the US runs out of its military personnel, they will randomly select names from this "reserved group" and the " lucky ones" will be sent to the battle field!! hope it wont happen! if you dont register urself or ur sons, u will have to pay a large amount of money as fine, and.... uhmm i forgot the other sanction. u will have a detailed explaination on this during the PDOS.:trout: :trout:
