I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????
I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
I'm emailed NVC about my status a week ago and this was part of their answer:
According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to
discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when
provided with all of the following information:
NVC case number or CIS receipt number
Petitioner's name and date of birth
Beneficiary's name and date of birth
Your full name
I have not idea what my petitioner's date of birth! geewhiz..I tried answering the other questions that I knew but they have not responded for 5 days already.

Reign 5,I would also like to add that even if you gave birth prior to your embassy interview, you and your dependents including the newly-born will be given a visa. You can add dependents even at the time of your interview. You just have to accomplish another DS230 including them as accompanying you. The important thing is to have the supporting document like the birth certificate.
hello 4floridabound,
Thanks for sharing these.... highly appreciated:redbeathe!

Oh, i didn't read the email properly. It said there:If corresponding about an I-140 petition provide the following:
NVC case number or CIS receipt number
Name of the petitioning company
Beneficiary's name and date of birth
Your full name
I wonder why NVC was not responded yet?
They usually reply in 5 days time from the time they received the e-mail.
made an inquiry to NVC yesterday, from " no visa available to..." "The NVC is waiting for the return of your biographic form from your lawyer. When the packet is received pls wait for 6 to 8 weeks for the outcome of your case, we will notify you if the case is completed".... whew finally a new message coming from NVC hehehehe..:roll:roll
