I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
my docs were received by NVC also last april 8 and yesterday, they have reviewed it and that I have a missing/incomplete docs and a letter was sent already to my lawyer so probably, yours has been reviewed and hope your case is already complete.god bless.
Missing or incomplete documents means an incomplete file. That means that your file will not be under consideration at this time even if your PD date is current.
This is why we keep stating that besides the PD date being current, the file needs to be complete as well.
Best of luck to you but I would check with your attorney to see why they do not consider your file complete, as this may delay you at this time.

thanks suzanne...
that is the reason why I'm so disappointed:cry:..My agency should have told me to submit the new requirement (photos, I think) and a new nbi certificate since mine already expired last year..I regret the fact that I have missed to asked them about those things but they should anticipated it. so even if my name has been placed as documentarily qualified last year, then I think I would just consider it as a waste...
To topscot, have you tried calling nvc lately? hope you will update us soon.tnx.
hi suzanne4, i just want to ask you if i still have to check with NVC re: visa availability like what everybody else is doing or just wait for the embassy to contact me. i was just wondering why those people with PD dates earlier or later than mine gets response from NVC like "no visa available yet" but then when i tried to contact them the automated response says they don't have any record of my file? i've been to embassy last year but unable to obtain visa because i lack NBI and told me i just have to send it next time visas are available. why don't they have any record of my file? is it because they've already forwarded it to the embassy?
I called up the nvc last thursday night and got this message "your lawyer will get an update within 90 days"...I made another call last night (friday night) and the voice prompt changed....I got this message (not the exact words but it goes like this) " some documents are missing, a letter of instruction was sent to your lawyer dated july 07. once we received the documents, give us 6-8 weeks to review your case". why 2007?Anybody here who has the same case with me? I don't know if this is a good news or not, since some documents are missing. these documents may pertain to ds230, nbi, and etc...
**** My pd is Feb 06.When I e-mailed the NVC,my case is now eligible for further processing, When I called the NVC ovr : lawyer will received further instruction within 90 days.Been completed twice at the NVC. Anyone who has the same situation?
