NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Here is my case details

Category : EX Schedule A

USCIS receipt : April 2004

Processing Center : Vermont

I-140 approved : October 2004

NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX

Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005

NVC case completed : May 16, 2005

Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Date of entry in the US :???

I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.

God bless!

hi ...got the same message from the automated response system..WHAT DOES THAT MEAN .???

My agency told me to prepare another set of documents (updated NBI,police clearance, birth and marriage cert, passport pictures with blue background, diploma and transcript) .

pd Feb 2006:nuke:

My PD is Jun 05 became current APR buletin our lawyer got us to send paers in March Nvc requested them first week of April
Hi fruity,

what documents did you prepare? did u get another set of NBI clearance? updated DS230? I called up the NVC's automated response system and it says "The lawyer will receive a letter within the next 90 days" so i dont know. New request of DS230 and NBI clearance perhaps? Same as what i did from the last time?

Hi! I'm guessing is that NVC sends letter by batches with respect to priority dates... I got the same message prior to "awaiting for biographic..."Anyway, I prepared new NBI's, passport size photos, xerox of passports, and updated ds230. But its better to wait for the request since you will never know what additional requirements they need. Like with the photos, I don't know the specifications for this since with topscot, NVC asked for 2x2 photos and not passport size.

hi! congrats on the progress of your papers, i just want to ask about your passport, is it the old one or the new one with blue background for the picture? i have a current passport which is the old one and will expire on 2012, but i'm worried that since we're all going to the US they will need the new one with the blue background, do i have to renew my passport?

btw, i called NVC today and told me that " the lwayer will receive further information on the next 90 days" what does it mean? (anybody can answer) thanxs a lot! :nuke:

PD May 2006

Hi guys... regarding documents required by NVC, check this link http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

this might help although we still have to wait for the actual request from NVC because it is usually a case to case basis depending on what documents they will ask on their letter.

PD May 2006

My passport is still the same, it will not expire til Nov of next year, I think there will be no problem with that since brown passports are still valid til its expiration.

Your pd might be current on June. Keep us posted.

To those pd later than May 2006, maybe you can also call NVC autamated reponse and see if there is change on the message. God Bless us all:nuke:

Hi guys...my pd is june 2005 and is now current this month..Please share or let me know what's best to write on my DS230 form (which I will be sending tomorrow to my immigration lawyer)I'm confused on what to write on my present address because my home address is in the philippines but i am now employed here in saudi arabia for 2 months now..what should I write there? It is where the NVC will send any response right?like next steps to take..etc.,please advice...and do you guys have any idea how long would be the waiting period after NVC and the consular interview in our country?.I need to know or at least have an idea so I'd let my employer know about it earlier...please help...thanks!

Hi guys!

Just called NVC now... automated response from "No visa avail." to "lawyer will received instructions within 90 days."

I hope this is it! PD Sept 2006.

I've also read from someone w/ a Nov. 2006 PD getting the same message. Seems like they are preparing to complete those with 2006 PDs.

With this rate, I would not be surprised if the next VB will be having a cut-off date of at least Jan. 1, 2007.
