NVC -CP- GC Tracker

Published

I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.

The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.

Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!

The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

No news yet from the lawyer. Hopefully they will receive the requests for our batch next week.

oh well..i wonder what's taking for the docs to come?

I called up the nvc last thursday night and got this message "your lawyer will get an update within 90 days"...I made another call last night (friday night) and the voice prompt changed....I got this message (not the exact words but it goes like this) " some documents are missing, a letter of instruction was sent to your lawyer dated july 07. once we received the documents, give us 6-8 weeks to review your case". why 2007?

Anybody here who has the same case with me? I don't know if this is a good news or not, since some documents are missing. these documents may pertain to ds230, nbi, and etc...

Hi monroe, I got the same message too. I just called up the NVC, and it says that some documents are missing or incompete upon review last july 2007... they have mailed some instructions to the lawyer.. Maybe this is related to a new set of DS230 and a new NBI clearance as what they have required from us last year.. I dont know, maybe i have to wait for the instructions... Waiting for our cases "TO BE COMPLETE AGAIN" Hoping this is finally it. :)

What's your pd? I agree with you...everybody who has a current pd is now required to submit an updated ds230 and new nbi clearance. yes, we need to wait for instruction/s from our lawyers and wait for our cases to be completed for the third time, hehehehe...

Updated DS230 forms were received by NVC first week of april and after a week, has been reviewed and found missing docs/incomplete docs...hmmmm, been wondering what are those documents to think that what they have only requested was updated ds230 forms when my Pd became current.(could it be my nbi certificate or photos...somebody told me that it is a new requirement of NVC).

anyway, why is it that they have to request again new sets of docs when in fact my case/ or other case has been placed as documentarily qualified last year.of course, I wont get tired doing all these things but my God...

I have to wait again for the letter of requests sent by NVC to my lawyers and see what are those documents missing (sigh).

Nvc recieved my docs 8th April i sent new DS230s police clearance and photos on average how long does it take to complete case and send to consular. The automated line is saying review will take 6-8 weeks is this when my case will be complete
