I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Hi Suzanne, I will check my contract. It's alright to pay the visa fee on my end but why did they have to submit my husband's DS230 if it's not paid? Is it possible for us to pay the fee on the day of our interview or we really have to send the payment to NVC as instructed?
I guess there is no chance for me to be scheduled for interview this January if this is the case. :smackingf
Is it actually wirtten in your contract that they will pay for one dependnet? Most do not do that. And will require you to pay for your spouse, etc.
i think i will no longer be scheduled for interview this december because its only 1 week to go and its already december. Im keeping my fingers cross that i will be scheduled for interview on january.
Last week, the US Embassy have posted the interview dates for December. You can check it there.

Nothing will get processed until they receive the fee. So, there is no way that it can be paid at the interview time, as you will never advance to the next packet until they have their money.

we have same pd but i got approved september...right now i am still waiting for the ds-230 forms..
:) :chuckle :) i was filed at nebraska service center. one thing i did though is to bug :angryfire my agency and my lawyer in the us, sometimes they can be very linient, so though phonebills rose quite high for me, it just paid off. let us pray that something positive will come after this very looooong wait!god bless us all
halu again! December sked for Manila is out already and Im not in it yet(Huhuhu). I noticed that the last interview date for dec. will be on the 23rd however in India their last datewill be on the 29th. Do you think Manila will be in for a long holiday or will it add more dates after Xmas? Just hoping......
Just wondering, when does NVC determine who and how many dependents you'll have? Would they know that after I have submitted my DS230 or even before then?
If it's after submission of Packet 3, does that mean payments for immigrant visa fee for the dependents I have included should follow or payments should be included once I have submitted my DS230? Thanks.
