hi, I just got my license, and hoping to work in a nursing home facility, I just want to know the routine of an LPN during the shift....thanks a lot

My contract is with the nursing home. What confuses me is when I will be ask at the point of entry. This really adds my anxiety, considering that I will have to prepare for the nclex. I really hope i can pull out this one. Thanks and God bless us all.

Halu, everybody. I would like to ask something from you guys. I had my immigrant visa already and am leaving on March 31. My problem is, with my agency. I was originally applied for a nursing home in Ohio and my contract is with them also. My problem is the agency told me that i will be working in Florida, will i not be questioned by the immigrant officer once i reach US?Considering that all my docs pointed Ohio as my destination and am in Florida. Another is, how can I avail of the Saunders study program here? I will be taking my NCLEX two weeks after (mid-April). Thanks and i would really appreciate your anwers. God bless!

Hi Suzanne and to everyone! Well, we had our medical exam in Manila last Jan.2 and our embassy interview last jan. 9. Thank you very much for those who shared their medical and embassy experiences, it helped us a lot. We received our visa this afternoon, Thanks God. Hope for those people who are waiting fot their turn, continue praying to HIM.I am hoping to hit Florida this March. (P1-Jan.5,2005 P4-Jan.9, 2006 Visa Issued -Jan.14 2006) Can u pls help me out for my NCLEX, i know this is not the right thread for me to ask but i feel more comfortable sharing it here. Originally, i applied for BON California last Nov. 2004 and was made eligible April 2005. Then, i did not register yer with Pearson Vue coz of financial constraints. Then my agency informed me that my employer is in Ohio.During my preparations for the interview last month, the agency told me that i will be finally working in Florida. This is so confusing for me, considering that they are bugging me to register coz they wont allow me to go without the ATT. How many months will it take me to receive it if a register via online? Is it ok to pursue my licensure at BON -Ca when in fact i will be tied up in Florida for 2 years? Or will i get one from Florida also (eligibility, i mean). My agent told me to pursue Ca then when i pass NCLEX, apply for endorsement. I dont want to believe them anymore coz frankly, i got most accurate infos here than from them. I have to go by March, they want me to present to them my ATT before I leave, is it possible for me to have it by then if i register next week? please help.........

halu again! December sked for Manila is out already and Im not in it yet(Huhuhu). I noticed that the last interview date for dec. will be on the 23rd however in India their last datewill be on the 29th. Do you think Manila will be in for a long holiday or will it add more dates after Xmas? Just hoping......
