I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005

Date of entry in the US :???

hi, jakey
i think it's the automated response when they received your email inquiry. nvc emailed me yesterday saying they are waiting for my ds-230. my employer just emailed me and i think she is sending the forms to my uncle so he can fedex them to me. i'm ready. i have my nbi clearance, photocopy of passports, cenomar, birth certificate.
will update you guys as soon as i received the packet 3 again.
Hello Leis23!
you're still awake? It's 1:00 am...are you keeping vigil by your comp and monitoring this site?: I haven't received new instructions from my lawyer so I guess I am not yet in line for visas. your PD is 2005 right? I wonder whether there are members here who have PD's prior to JUNE 2005; I'm curious if they received memos for embassy interview scheds. Well, that's it for me....been here for the past hour...time to sleep...good night....

Hi Leis23, let us know when you receive your packet 3. Let us know what is inside the packet and the NVC's instruction. I've never seen the original packet from NVC because my lawyer does not send that letter to me. I was just wondering what the NVC stated in the letter.
Hi Jakey, I'm sure your lawyer will contact you soon. My PD is November 2005. Pretty Neireille has a PD of January 2005 but she has not posted ant updates if she already have an interview schedule.

Hey guys;
If we are being ask to submit all these documents again, how about the dependents? Do they have to fill up another DS230 form, secure NBI and police clearance again and submit it to NVC? The first time we submit our papers it took my husband two months to secure his police clearances since he works abroad and on different countries. Can I submit mine earlier and submit my husband later?? Any one with an idea about this one?
Your inputs are very well appreciated.
My PD date is May 2005 the visa bill was paid Nov 2006 then retrogresion hit:( anyway the june visa bulletin came out and my case got restarted at this moment the NVC automated msg states biographical data requested, and when received can take upto 8 weeks to process does this mean yet again we are not going to get an emabassy interview and GC again.
The NVC has received your e-mail inquiry. We are currently
processing in the order of receipt.
Thank you for your patience.

I got this email from NVC also, I do not know if this is a good news or what. The last time I emailed the NVC was 3 weeks ago, so I am wondering why they sent me this message.
My lawyer received the request from NVC the other day. Then, my lawyer sent my ds230 today via email. All I have to do is to print it out and sign it (it was filled out already by my lawyer). I'm gonna send it tomorrow via fedex. Good luck to all of us guys, hope we wont be caught again by the incoming retro. sigh!!!
Hello. can some one help..
I have PD of feb 2002. I completed Nclex last november and my agent said she is going to process the papers. She said she paid my visa bill and my husbands visa bill on january 2007. I deliverd a baby on feb2007 . She sent me DS 230 forms and said the NVC has asked to fill the form and u are in the final stage of immigration and asked me to collect documents including Police verificaton. Then I filled the DS230 for all of us including my baby on first week of April. My agent told to expect for interview at any time. On the last week of may she told that NVC has sent Visa bill for my kid and she paid Visa bill . I called the NVC for the first time yesterday and the automated response says that check response letter recieved on june 13th and further notification will be made in six to eight weeks time. Does anyone guess howmuch more time it may take for case to be transferred to Consulate and how one can understand when ur files tranfered to consulate.Do I need to fill DS 230 once more. Pls reply

seems to be a long time between PD feb 2002 and taking NCLEX in 2006, did you pass CGFNS exam? as I can't see how you got PD any other way. If that is the case you could have moved to the US with CGFNS exam and taken NCLEX in the US could easily have had your GC for a couple of years. Sounds like your DS230 are awaiting approval and once you get that it can take up to 12 weeks then to move to the US embassy in India and interview arranged
I really don't know what's goin' on. Kindly read this article my fellow nurses.
July Visa Bulletin to be revised?
Please be advised that AILA, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, has just released the following announcement.
"We are hearing from multiple sources that, on Monday or Tuesday of next week, State Department plans to issue a revised Visa Bulletin for July 2007. This revised Bulletin would retrogress some or all of the employment-based categories, very likely to the point of unavailable. Reports from AILA members about unusual levels and types of activities by USCIS indicate a particular push to adjudicate employment-based adjustments currently in the pipeline so as to exhaust visa numbers for fiscal year 2007.
This follows the actions of USCIS in June, when it began rejecting EB-3 "Other Worker" adjustment applications even though the Visa Bulletin showed an October 2001 cut-off date, on the basis that the "Other Worker" numbers for the year had been exhausted."
If this is accurate, Adjustment of Status cases (I-485 cases) filed in July will all be rejected and returned to us and no AOS (I-485 cases) could be filed in July. It would also effectively cancel all Immigrant Visa appointments at US Consulates. We will provide further updates as they become available.
