I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????
I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
Hi, my petitioner gave me my NVC case number last November. Things were left unclarified to me coz I was informed that I don't have a visa fee bill yet. What is really the correct sequence? NVC case no. first, then visa fee bill, DS-230 , then approval. Do I have the correct sequence? Please help me clarify things. Thanks

I believe you have the right order, except approval is done before NVC and is when your I140 has been processed. DS230 will not be processed until visa bill has been paid and then it is a case of wait for a visa number and interview which at the moment with retrogression is not happening very quickly
CIR debate: at the earliest, things will not be signed before August, and that means visas not until November.
Visa Bulletin: Things have opened up slightly, but remember that there is no Schedule A, so any movement of the PD means for all that are under the EB-3 and there are many from all professions that are under that.
But please, for a discussion in this, go to the threads that are covering this. We are trying to keep threads on topic here for ease of everyone reading.
hi guys! My PD is FEB 2006. NVC case completed OCT 2006. When i called the NVC hotline last night, the voice prompt that i received was something like this "The beneficiary will receive further information within the next 90 days. Pls update us if you have any change in address". Does this mean that I'll be receiving my Packet 4 within the next 90 days? Anyone with the same case as mine? thanks and hope to hear feedbacks from you guys. God bless!

if your PD is feb 06 and they are currently processing up to Jun 05 I am not sure if you will be recieving anything. But good luck if this is the case
the reason that they had given you 90 days for further instruction does not means that you will be receiving your packet 4. it is because they are waiting if in 90 days your PD will become current since the VB is progressing rapidly,if it will you will receive another notice stating that your case is current and processing will take 2-3 weeks. if your PD will not become current in 90 days they will send you a notice that no visa is available and that they will hold on to your case until it will become current. just hope and pray that VB will progress some more until yours become current.
hi guys.. my PD is March 2006.. NVC case# MNL2006629015.. when i checked with NVC for the status of the case i received this reply:
"Title V, Section 502 of the REAL ID Act of 2005 (Division B of Pub. L.
109-13 enacted May 11, 2005) provided the creation of the EX visa
classification and the allocation of 50,000 EX visa classification numbers.
All 50,000 visa numbers have been allocated; therefore, no further
allocations will be possible. As a result, the NVC has changed the assigned
visa classification from EX to E3. "
I'm a bit confused.. does E3 also mean EB3?? as i understand E3 visas are visa categories for Australian citizens.. and i'm from the Philippines...
any inputs???

Yes E3 is same as EB3, we all know that schedule A was back to EB3. I suggest you check the Visa Bulletin prior inquiring about your case at the NVC. Your PD is not yet current, Visa Bulletin stated that they are processing cases with PD before June 1, 2005.
Hi guys! I emailed NVC regarding the status of my case and this was the reply i got, dated June 1, 2007.
"Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).
This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner,
beneficiary, and/or attorney of record will receive further instructions
regarding the processing of this petition.
When an interview has been scheduled for the applicant, the NVC will
send further instructions regarding the medical exam as well as the visa
interview.

National Visa Center

My PD is Feb 2006. Case completed Oct 2006. I'm glad things have started to move again. My friend who has a PD of March 2006, is also now eligible for further processing. Hope everything works out for the best. :)
