:balloons: Congratulations!! Not long now. If it's any help our packet 4 was dated the 15th June and our interview is on 17th July.

Hi,

Good luck for your interview-nothing to get worried about, very simple procedure. I felt we were there as just a formality. We did wait a long time hours in fact but when our son went he waited for about 10 mins. I think we were there on a busy day.

People are there for everything but there are only about 30-40 for immigration purposes. You can get snacks and drinks inside.

NVC completed our case on 3rd May.:) So you shouldn't be too long now hopefully!

That's great news Clair. Shouldn't be long for you now. I had my Embassy interview 3 months after my case was completed. You could be on your way by October!

Hi

The NVC do work in a strange way, it really is a case by case time frame.

My request for agent was last week in May the request for payment apx 10 day's later, by the 2nd week in june we received pk 3 & returned it the same day. I can not access my file status on the 24/7 phone line as my case No letters are not ones they have on offer, I have sent an e-mail a couple of times & thats how I have got info on case status. They have told me that they received my ds230 30th June (it was faxed & fe-exed for same day delivery) so I gess they mean arrived in dept.

I'm hoping i'm not far behind you! but who knows:uhoh3:

Mind you I still have to sell my house yet so I shouldnt be in such a hurry! but it would just be nice to know it was all over it's been such a long haul & it makes my head ache:selfbonk: :lol_hitti

Hope it's not to loooooooooooong before you get pk4 :icon_hug:

i think it took about 3 weeks until they completed my case and a week after that for the file to be sent to the nvc

it doesnt sound like you are that far behind me, my timeline may be a bit different as i wasnt responsible for sending my file an agency did it

good luck with the house sale thats another headache in itself!!!

The NVC do work in a strange way

I think this NVC bit is worse than the rest of it put together. Not helped by my not so efficient recruitment company piling on my agony.

It appears that whilst the I140 bit was haphazard and anything could happen in any amount of time, the next bit was straightforward with specific times for everything to happen like clockwork with no hitches - or so I was lead to believe. Wrong. Fee bill documentation cock ups. Delay in posting things from NVC to US Office to UK Office to Me.

We've not sold our house either.

I'm really pi**ed off at the moment with the immigration process.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH.

Ah, that's better.

oh, OG surely not another christmas?!?

i know what you mean though, i was told this part was more simple and controlled, thats only true if the agency files the documents when they are requested ive had to chase up every step to check it was all being sent on time, it makes you wonder what these people get paid for :uhoh21:

Thanks for that it helps to know.

An agency also sent mine, my agent keeps me informed of all corrispondence as it happens, so I don't feel left out of the process:kiss

I just hope they continue to be as helpful & supportive when I'm there.
